You are a Belgian qualified lawyer with 2 to 4 years of experience in employment law and you have a particular interest in privacy related matters and data protection law as well.

In order to strengthen its Employment Law practice, Van Bael & Bellis is currently looking for an associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in employment law.
As junior associate, you will assist clients with a broad range of labour and social security law issues, including a variety of individual and collective labour law matters, employment law aspects related to M&A files, restructurings, hiring and firing and international employment.
You will be offered the opportunity to also work with partners of other law practices (e.g. commercial law and corporate/ M&A).
You will closely collaborate with your colleagues of the Belgian and European practice in the files where your assistance is required. This will give you the opportunity to become part of a multi-disciplinary team of highly qualified experts working on a common project.
You are a Belgian-qualified lawyer with an excellent academic track record. Preferably, you have an additional Master degree from an English-speaking university.
You have 2 to 4 years of experience in employment law at a reputable law firm or as an in-house counsel.
You have a particular interest in privacy and data protection related matters as well.
You have an excellent command of English and French or Dutch and you have a good knowledge of the other national language.
You have strong analytical and writing skills.
You are eager to invest in business development activities such as seminars, drafting of newsflashes and publications.
